Everything is an Item: Collections, Properties & [[WikiLinks]]
Model pages, posts, structured directories, form inquiries, comments, and products with Collection + Properties + Markdown and connect them with [[WikiLinks]].
Six Collection modes (kind)
Instead of rigid tables for every feature, Flino Core lets you define Collections with custom JSON Property Schemas and six specialized operational modes:
- document (Document-first view): Blog posts, documentation, case studies, and brand stories
- data (Table-first view): Spec sheets, store locators, FAQ entries, and partner directories
- block (Page sections): Reusable Hero banners, pricing tables, navigation, and footer blocks
- form (Public submissions): B2B lead inquiries, demo bookings, support requests, and waitlists
- comment (Threaded reviews): Attached to any article or product via targetId, with parentId nested replies and gallery images
- product (Commerce items): When the Commerce plugin is enabled, attaches multi-variant SKUs, pricing, and atomic inventory to product Items
Obsidian dual-core: Structured Properties + Markdown body
Every Item combines typed JSON Properties (mapped to YAML Frontmatter locally and indexed via SQLite json_extract) with a full Markdown body powered by SQLite FTS5 millisecond full-text search.
Bi-directional [[collection:slug]] links & Backlinks
Embed [[products:coffee-pro]] or [[forms:dealer-inquiry]] directly inside any Markdown body. Flino Core automatically updates the item_relations graph table on save.
Your frontend API can inline referenced products or forms inside articles in a single query, while the CMS admin displays Obsidian-style Backlinks so you never accidentally delete a referenced item.
